We also provide Supported Independent Living (SIL) & Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) to deliver sustainable housing & living to NDIS participants.

Short Term Accommodation (Respite Care)

Pandacare is designed to give caregivers a break from their caregiving responsibilities, allowing them to rest, recharge, and attend to their own needs while ensuring that their loved ones receive adequate care during their absence. Pandacare services can include assistance with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, medication management, and supervision for individuals with cognitive impairments.

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

The aim of Pandacare is to foster the individual’s independence, self-determination, and community participation. It is designed to enable individuals to live in their preferred environment, whether it be their own home, a shared living arrangement, or a community-based setting, with the right level of support to meet their unique needs.

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) refers to purpose-built housing designed to meet the specific needs of individuals with disabilities. Pandacare provide accommodation that provides a high level of accessibility, safety, and support to individuals with disabilities who require specialized features and modifications in their living environment.

Why Wont It Let Me Apply For A Property I Like?

If the property you selected does not cater your requirement or it isn’t available. This is so you can see what is generally out there in the market. If you see a disability home you’re interested in but it isn’t currently available, remember to add it to your favourites, so you are notified once it is changed to vacant.

What Is The Difference Between SDA And SIL

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is the support or supervision of daily tasks to live independently. Supported Disability Accommodation (SDA), on the other hand, is for people with disability who have severe functional impairment or highly complex support needs that require specialist housing alternatives

Does NDIS Pay For Accommodation?

It’s important to understand that a small percentage of NDIS participants will receive NDIS funding for accommodation (called specialist disability accommodation). For the majority, NDIS also won’t cover funding for rent or any other type of day to day costs like telephone, internet or groceries.
